Sønderjylland is easy to get to by plane, ferry and train. The E45 motorway connects the region with the rest of Denmark and Germany, while DSB train connections and regional buses provide public transport to most towns.

Public transport in Sønderjylland connects major towns such as Sønderborg, Aabenraa, Tønder and Haderslev, while local buses provide access to the cosy villages and many fantastic experiences. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the many cycling routes through the beautiful countryside, and it is possible to hire bicycles in many places.

Sønderborg Airport offers direct flights to and from Copenhagen every day, making the region ideal for both Danish and international visitors. Furthermore, Sønderjylland has many train stations, making it easy to travel by train from all over Denmark and onwards to Germany.
