Christmas tour in Nørreskoven Als

Collect spruce and pine cones, and you might even meet Egon and Konrad - the two forest nisser!

After the cosy Christmas walk in the forest, it's time to unfold your creative skills as the various natural materials are put together to create this year's Christmas decorations in the cosy lodge, Jagtstuen.

The assosiation, Foreningen Nygård will be selling Danish mulled wine and æbleskiver (pancake balls).

Some information about the forest nisse.

The forest nisse live in the wild and don't usually wear a red hat like the Christmas nisse, but rather green and brown clothes, so they are not easy to spot - however, they do leave behind traces that are hard to explain. Although forest nisser are sometimes seen in pairs or threes, they are not a herd creature and have not been known of as long as house, farm and ship nisser, who all live with humans.
