Guided town walk on foot at Aarø

The guide lives on Aarø and is more than happy to take you on a walk around the island. You will being at the harbour, where the guide will tell you about the lifeline to the main land, the ferry - as well as the development that has happened on the island. You will then walk to the high-tide stone and "Æ Bøs", along the stone fences to Brummers Gaard with the old Bull Barn from 1650.

On your trip you will also walk past the memorial stone, the community centre and the old school with another memorial stone. After this, you will walk to the island's fire station, and onwards past the old farms and Lion's holiday homes. After a visit to the church, the guide will tell you about "Kongsgården", and you will walk down Skippergade, where the trip ends.

Duration approximately an hour.
