Regional Cycling route 37 - Tour de France 3rd stage
In the rut of the Tour de France field of 2022, you follow the 182 km long route through Southern Denmark, with a sea of opportunities for historical and scenic experiences.
When the Tour de France field ran the 3rd stage of the Grand Depart Denmark in 2022, there was no time for detours - neither to experience the Southern Jutlandic coffee table or some of the many scenic and historical experiences along the way.
With the booklet Tour Cycle Guide, you won't miss the many sights along the route from Vejle to Sønderborg.
Experience Denmark's most beautiful pedestrian street in Vejle and get an insight into Denmark's earliest history at Kongernes Jelling. Visit Koldinghus - the last royal castle in Jutland and enjoy a gingerbread in Christiansfeld, whose special architectural style has put the town on Unesco's world heritage list.
Continue south to Haderslev Cathedral and a trip with the boats Dambåden. Enjoy the walk along the small cobbled streets in Aabenraa, en route to the Art Museum at Brundlund Castle or follow the symbolic footsteps in the Reunification Park at Folkehjem in Aabenraa.
Explore the Royal Kitchen Garden and Castle Garden in Gråsten, before the tour passes Dybbøl Banke and the national symbol Dybbøl Mølle and ends with a visit to the Museum at Sønderborg Castle or the Deutsches Museum Nordslesvig.
These are only a few suggestions for what you can see along the way - so visit our websites and plan your experiences on the Tour.
