Strandgaarden B&B is located in the most beautiful nature, close to beach and water.
B&B just a few minutes from the beach
Since the 1960s, tourists have been welcomed to Strandgaarden, where they have stayed overnight, relaxed, or simply unwound – whether on foot, by bike, or by car. In 2025, we took over Strandgaarden, but the cherished tradition of hosting guests on the farm remains unchanged.
The farm was previously operated as a traditional agricultural business, but that is no longer the case. However, we still have space for chickens and enjoy the company of the many wild animals living around the farm.
You also have the option to bring your own horse, as we have a dedicated paddock available.
With us, you can rent a holiday apartment with a cozy living room, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms with double beds. One of the bedrooms also has a baby crib. The apartment has its own terrace and access to a large, beautiful garden.
We also offer a room with two beds, a private bathroom, and a small terrace.
The old horse stable is under renovation, and after January 2026, we will have two new, lovely rooms with private bathrooms and a shared kitchen available for rent.
The farm is located in the small village of Sønderballe, only about 1 kilometer from Sønderballestrand in Genner Bay, and a short bike ride from Gåsevig and Vikær beaches, all three beautiful Blue Flag beaches.
